This three page dinner menu was from a complimentary dinner sponsored by The Union on Sept. 22, 1904. The menu was signed in pencil on the reverse by 29 members and guests who attended this event. The most notable autograph is of popular Hall of Fame pitcher Christy Mathewson. He signed this menu along the top, his autograph grading a solid 9. There are 28 other signatures we have not identified. Knowing the type of figures Mathewson brushed shoulders with, we are confident there are other notables displayed. Truly a nice different Mathewson item!
