During his lifetime, Babe Ruth was unquestionably the most recognizable face of any sports figure in history. Fans loved him and clamored for a piece of The Babe. Thankfully, he was a willing autograph signer who was happy to oblige all. The Babe has signed this bat "To Miki From Babe Ruth" in black fountain pen with a strong and bold signature rating a strong 8. The bat is a Spalding Jr. Autograph Frank M Schulte signature model that weighs 26 ounces and is 31.75 inches long. Overall condition of the bat is excellent plus showing slight wear due to age. The "Miki" that Babe inscribed the bat to is actually Maxine "Miki" Herzberg-Fisher, a long time friend of the family. Among the documentation that accompanies the bat is a picture of Miki with the Ruth family, a copy of "Babe" sheet music signed "My Darling Miki, Sincerely, Claire Ruth", a picture of Maxine "Miki" Fisher's tombstone (which helps to establish that Miki was Maxine), a letter from the gentleman who the bat was willed to, following the death of Fisher, and an LOA from PSA/DNA.
