Whitey Ford was known as the "money pitcher" for the great Yankee teams of the '50s and early '60s. His .690 career winning percentage ranks him #1 all-time in Major League history and his ten World Series wins still remains a record. Pictured here are ten Official Budig American League baseballs that have been signed and inscribed by the HOF on the sweet spot of each ball. Ford has written on each ball in blue ink his signature, number of game, (W.S.), year and score of game. The signatures grade 9 overall with the only slight smudge coming on the 1955, Game 6 ball. The beautiful set of ten balls is a testament to the Yankee dynasty of the '50s and their left-handed ace.
