This OAL Harridge baseball has been autographed by 31 different American League players who participated in the All-Star games from 1933-35. The inaugural Midsummer Classic saw Babe Ruth slug the first All-Star home run. The most memorable All-Star moment came in 1934 when "King" Carl Hubbell struck out consecutive Hall of Famers Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Jimmie Foxx, Al Simmons, and Joe Cronin. Lefty Grove played in the 1933 All-Star game and attended the next two games, having the AL stars sign the ball over those two years. The ball is loaded with incredible signatures that are of a very high quality. The signatures include: Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Jimmie Foxx, Rogers Hornsby, Bill Dickey, Mickey Cochrane, Connie Mack, Goose Goslin, Earl Averill, Chas Ruffing, Chas Gehringer, Heine Manush, Jimmy Dykes, Pinky Higgins, Bob Johnson, Lefty Grove, etc.
