The 1919 Cincinnati Red won 96 regular season game enroute to a World Championship, however the story of their greatness goes largely untold. Most people only discuss the scandal that ensued at 1919 World Series as opposed to the spectacular play of the Cincinnati ball club. What is not discussed is how Edd Roush lead the Reds to the series hitting .321 and captured a batting title, or how the team had two twenty game winning pitchers, and how their pitchers combined to allow fewer runs than any other team in the league. That Championship club is honored in this spectacular panoramic style display which is actually comprised of 25 different 2" x 3" photographs and one title card that reads "Our Boys, The Reds, 1919 Champions." The display is in overall very good to excellent condition with 90% of it being beautifully preserved except for the pictures of Charlie See and Heine Groh. It has been double matted and framed to an overall size of 14.5" x 38.5". A tremendous and possibly unique display.
