The leader of "Showtime" in the 1980s for the champion Los Angeles Lakers was the flamboyant Earvin "Magic" Johnson. His size (6' 9") and strength made guarding him virtually impossible for opposing guards. He helped lead the Lakers to five World Championships in the 1980s and set the bar exceedingly high for future floor generals. This Los Angeles Lakers home jersey was worn by the future HOF circa 1984. On the front tail of the jersey is the "Tiernan Label". Across the front is the name "Lakers" and on the back is the name "Johnson". The "3D" style player number "32" appears on both the front and back of the shirt. All the letters and numbers are made of purple tackle twill. The shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The jersey comes with a signed LOA from Bernard Tiernan.
