One of the top fifty players of all-time, the Carolina All-American was drafted by the 76ers in 1965 and played nine years in Philadelphia. Averaging a career double/double, the "Kangaroo Kid" was an integral part of the 1966-67 Championship team that has been called the best of all-time. Spending two years in the ABA with the Carolina Cougars, Cunningham won league MVP honors in 1972-73. He was inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame in 1986. This pair of Philadelphia 76'ers shorts was worn by the HOF circa 1970. The shorts are red with a white and blue trim. In the waist of the shorts is a "Wilson" tag with the size "36". Directly underneath the Wilson tag is a red felt tag with the player number "32" sewn on in white thread. The waistband is elastic with a tie-string. This is a rare example of a Cunningham game-used item. The shorts came directly from the Kosloff family.
