This circa 1976 Boston Celtics home warm-up jacket was worn by eight time NBA champion, John Havlicek. A member of both the 35th and 50th Anniversary teams, "Hondo'" great play at both ends of the court was a major factor for the Celtics unparalleled success. In the neck of the jacket is the "Sand Knit" exclusive team label and on the inside right front tail is the "Sand Knit" size tag 44 with the player number "17" written in black marker. Across the front of the jacket is the team name "Celtics" in green on yellow tackle twill. Shamrocks made of green on yellow tackle twill appear on both sleeves. On the back, a green nameplate with the player name "Havlicek" is in white tackle twill. The nameplate is attached to the jacket with six velcro fasteners. A bicentennial patch was removed from the right lower front of the jacket after the 1976 season and worn again during the 1977 campaign.
