His storybook career began in the small Indiana town of West Baden, when Bird led Springs Valley High School to the state sectional championship and concluded with his number 33 jersey being retired by the Boston Celtics. Larry Bird enjoyed a legendary 13-year professional career with the Celtics. When Bird joined the Celtics in 1979, he launched an era both in Boston and throughout the NBA that may never again be duplicated. In Bird's 13 seasons, Boston won 10 Atlantic Division titles, had six 60-plus-win seasons and toppled the 50-win mark twelve times. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Sand-Knit" exclusive label and below is the "Sand-Knit" label with the size "46." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Celtics" and on the back is the name "Bird." The player number "33" appears on both the front and back of the jersey. All the letters and numbers are made of green tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. It comes with an additional letter.
