Throughout his 13 season, 198 game NFL Hall of Fame career with the Cleveland Browns from 1978 to 1990, Ozzie Newsome was a fixture at tight end, a true team leader in every respect, and one of only five players in Browns history to play in three decades. Nicknamed the "Wizard of Oz," Newsome became the leading tight end receiver in NFL history. On the left front tail of the jersey is the Cleveland Browns exclusive label and below this is the "Sand-Knit" label and size, "46." On the back of the jersey is a white nameplate with the name "Newsome." The player number "82" appears on the front, back and on each sleeve of the jersey. The letters and numbers are made of brown tackle twill. There is an autograph on the back number "8" which rates an 8. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
