An All-American linebacker from USC, McGinest played defensive end for nine years in the NFL tallying 51.5 sacks and one Super Bowl Championship. This New England Patriots road mesh jersey was worn by McGinest during the 1997 NFL season. At the base of the "V" neck is the "NFL" patch and below is the name "Patriots" in white Swiss embroidered stitch. On the left front tail is the "Starter" label and below is the size tag "52." On the back of the jersey is a white nameplate with the name "McGinest" in blue tackle twill. The player number "55" appears on the front, back and on each sleeve of the jersey in red on blue tackle twill. On the inside back number "5" is stenciled "Set 2 1997 Season." On each shoulder is the Patriots emblem and on each sleeve is the Starter logo. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
