Earl Campbell is one of the most notable running backs to ever play college football. Graduating from the University of Texas in 1977, he was the number 1 draft pick by the Houston Oilers and was voted Rookie of the Year as well as MVP in his first professional year. On the left front tail of the jersey is the year "1981" which has been written in black marker. On the back of the jersey is a white mesh nameplate with the name "Campbell" in blue letters. The player number "34" appears on the front, back and on each sleeve of the jersey in blue on red numbers. The letters and numbers have been ironed-on. The bottom of the jersey has been custom-cut and there is a repair mark on the back of the shirt. The jersey shows game-use and with the exception of the custom-cut bottom and repair mark, appears to have no other alterations of any kind.
