Hall of Famer Weinmeister was one of the first defensive players to captivate the masses. His career began with the New York Yankees, of the All-American Football Conference, in 1948. He joined the NFL Giants two years later and appeared in three Pro Bowls from 1950-53.The player number "73" appears on both the front and back of the jersey in faded pink tackle twill. There are several holes in the shirt. The jersey shows good game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
