In January 1964, The New York Jets and the Denver Broncos completed a historic nine-player deal sending Dick Guesman, Ed Cooke, Sid Fournet, Charlie Janerette and Jim Price to the Broncos for Gene Prebola, Wahoo McDaniel, Bob Zehman and Gordy Holtz. Eight months later the two teams met at the Jets inaugural game at Shea Stadium on September 12, 1964. The Jets got the better of the deal and the game pounding the Broncos 30-6 in front of the record crowd of 45,665. The EX-NM innagural program and ticket stub are handsomely displayed on a white/green backround in a 16" x 23" frame.
