Leo Lewis played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League from 1955-65. Known as the "Lincoln Locomotive", he rushed for 48 touchdowns and caught 26 more. The six-time All-Star played on four Grey Cup championship teams and was elected to the CFL Hall of Fame in 1973. This original Winnepeg Blue Bombers jersey and pants were worn by Lewis during his CFL playing days in 1960s. On the inside back tail of the jersey is the "King O'Shea" label and adjacent is the size tag "44." The player number "29" appears on the front, back and on each sleeve of the jersey in blue ironed-on numbers. Included with the uniform are pants. Inside the pants is the "King O'Shea " label with the size "34." The player number "29" is written in black magic marker. The uniform comes with a letter from Leo Lewis himself. The uniform shows good game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
