A fantastic college ball player John Roche made the jump to the ABA and then played in International Leagues for several seasons. In 1979 he was picked up by the Denver Nuggets and began his four year NBA career. On the left front tail is the "Powers" manufacturers label with the size "42." Across the front of the jersey is the team name "Denver" and below this is the player number "10" which also appears on the back of the jersey. These letters and numbers are done in white on yellow tackle twill. Also on the back of the jersey is a blue nameplate with the player name "Roche" in white tackle twill. In the waistband of the shorts is the "Powers" label with the size "34." The player number "10" is written on the tag in black marker. There is an additional "Garment of America" tag in the waist. On each leg of the shorts is the Nuggets team logo patch. The jersey and shorts show game use and appear to have no alterations of any kind.
