With tremendous raw power, Killebrew stormed up the list of all-time home run leaders to reach 380 homers at age 31, more than Babe Ruth at the same age. During his 22-year career with the Senators, Twins, and Royals, he tied or led the league in home runs six times, belted 40 or more on eight occasions, and knocked in 100 or more runs nine times. When he was finished, Killebrew had hit 573 homers, second only to Babe Ruth among American League sluggers. Killebrew wore this Minnesota Twins home pinstriped flannel uniform during the 1967 season, in which he hit 44 home runs and drove in 113 runs. In the neck of the jersey is a white felt patch with the player name "Killebrew" sewn on in black chain stitch. Below this is a blue Sharpie autograph that rates an 8. On the left front tail is the "Wilson" manufacturer's tag with the size "44" and below it is a white felt patch with "67 Set 2" sewn on in black chain stitch to represent year and set number, respectively. On the left sleeve is a Minnesota Twins patch. The team name "Twins" has been sewn in script across the front of the jersey and the player number "3" has been sewn onto the back. The letters and number are made of navy on red tackle twill. Included with the jersey are pants. On the front of the waistband is the "Wilson" manufacturer's tag with the size "36" and next to this is a white felt patch with "26" 67" sewn on in black chain stitch, representing inseam and year, respectively. Killebrew's player number "3" appears in black marker to the left of the manufacturer's tag. The uniform's tagging and stitching are consistent with other Minnesota Twins uniforms from that era. It shows game use with consistent, even wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The autograph comes with a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
