The name Torii Hunter will be etched in the minds of baseball fans for years to come because of his phenomenal catch in the 2002 All-Star game that robbed Barry Bonds of a home run. This jersey was worn by Hunter last season when he had a career year earning the NL Gold Glove Award. On the left front tail is the "Russell Athletic" label. Adjacent to this are the "100% Polyester 50" and "2001" tags. Across the front of the jersey is the team name "Twins" and below this is the player number "48" which also appears on the back of the jersey" The letters and numbers are made of red on blue tackle twill. Also on the back is a white nameplate with the player name "Hunter" in blue tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the "TC" logo patch and on the right sleeve is the "American League 100 Seasons" patch. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
