Robin Ventura had one of baseball's top amateur careers at Oklahoma State. A member of the U.S. Olympic team in 1988, Robin hit .409 in Seoul to help his club win the gold medal. In the neck of the jersey is the "Wilson" label with the size, "46." Below this is the "Tapered" label. On the left front tail is a gray label reading "Ventura 92 1" in black embroidered stitch. The numbers denote the year and set number, respectively. Across the front of the jersey is the name "Chicago" in script-style letters and on the back is the name "Ventura." The player number "23" appears on both the left breast and on the back of the jersey. The letters and numbers are made of black on white tackle twill. Included with the jersey are pants from the 1993 season. Inside the waistband is the "Russell Athletic" label with the size "35." To the left of this is the "27" Inseam" label and under this is the "Husky" label. To the right of this label is a white patch reading "23-35/38-27-93" denoting the player number, waist size, inseam and year, respectively. The player number "23" is written on this label in black marker. The number "18" is written three times inside the pants in marker. There is some fraying on the letters and numbers on the jersey. It shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Ventura's game used Louisville Slugger model T141 from the 1990 season is uncracked and shows evidence of moderate game use. Manufacturer: Hillerich & Bradsby, Model Number: T141, Labeling Period: 1990, Length: 34 in, Weight: 31 oz, Wood: Ash, Finish: Flame-Burned. The bat comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
