Keith Foulke was a starter in the minor leagues so he has a greater assortment of pitches than most closers. A true workhorse, Keith was unhittable at times in 2001 as he recorded 42 saves in 45 opportunities. Keith led the AL in games finished (69), was third in saves and ranked third among relievers in ERA (2.33). On the left front tail is a white label reading "29 46 00" in black embroidered stitch. The numbers denote the player number, size and year, respectively. On the left breast is the "Sox" logo and on the back is the name "Foulke." The player number "29" appears on both the right breast and on the back of the jersey. The logo, name and numbers are made of black on silver tackle twill. On the back of the vest, at the neck, is the Major League Baseball logo patch. The jersey is missing the "Majestic" label. The stitching is consistent throughout the jersey and it shows even wear. The jersey shows game-use and with the exception of the missing manufacturer's label, appears to have no other alterations of any kind.
