Don Sutton's all-time statistics reflect his consistency and longevity. En route to defeating every major league team, he earned a spot among the career leaders in losses (sixth), games started (second), strikeouts (fourth), innings pitched (sixth) and shutouts (eighth) at the time he retired. A fanatic about conditioning, he never spent a day on the disabled list in 22 seasons. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Rawlings" label with the size "44." Adjacent is the flag tag reading "Set 2 1987." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Angels" and on the back is the name "Sutton." The player number "20" appears on both the left breast and on the back of the shirt. The letters and numbers are made of red on blue tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the Angels patch. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
