Mookie Wilson was a hustling fan favorite whose at-bats were greeted at home with cries of Mooo-kie. He will forever be remembered for one at-bat lasting ten pitches during the 1986 Mets vs. Red Sox World Series. The accumulated excitement of the slowly building rally capped by the tension of Wilson's at-bat made the game one of the most exciting in Series history. In the neck of the jersey is the "Wilson" label with the size "42." Below this is the year tag "89" in blue embroidered stitch. Across the front of the jersey is the name "Toronto" in blue/white/blue tackle twill and on the back is the name "Wilson" in blue tackle twill. The player number "3" appears on the back of the shirt in blue/white/blue tackle twill. On the left breast is the Blue Jays emblem. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Included in this lot is an early 1980's Mets batting helmet. On the front of the helmet is the Mets logo and on the brim is the manufacturer "Wilson" on dyno tape. On the brim is an autograph which rates a 9. The helmet shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
