Maje McDonnell is a former Phillies "Whiz Kid" and a long time Phillies executive. He was also Villanova's second all-time leading scorer. In the neck of the jersey is a gray felt patch with the name "McDonnell M" in black chain stitch. On the left front tail is the "Wilson" label and adjacent is the size tag, "38." Below the Wilson label is the wash tag and under this is a gray felt patch with the year "1954" in black chain stitch. Across the front of the jersey is the name "Phillies" and on the back is the player number "40." The letters and numbers are made of red embroidered stitch on a white felt backing. The jersey shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
