While Montreal may not be much of a baseball city these days, it nonetheless has a prominent place in baseball history. The Canadian city was once home to the Montreal Royals, the former Triple-A International League minor league affiliate of the Brooklyn Dodgers. None other than Jackie Robinson played for the Royals in 1946. This Montreal Royals warmup jacket was worn by a player in the late 1940's. "Royals" is written in script on the left breast of the jacket, which has a "Grenfell Cloth" label in the collar. The EX zipper style jacket has two pockets, two draw strings and red lining. It is in exceptional condition given its age. Needless to say, this is a particularly tough item to get a hold of.
