Tommy Davis came up with the LA Dodgers in 1960 and within two years he earned his first batting title hitting .346 in 1962. He went on to earn another title and played in two all-star games. He holds the distinction of having retired with a .320 average as a pinch hitter, the highest in baseball history. On the left front tail is the "Rawlings" label and next to this is the size tag "44." Below this is "Davis 60" in blue embroidered stitch. On the left inside front tail is the wash tag and adjacent to this is the "Set 1 1960" flag tag. Across the front of the jersey is the team name "Dodgers" in blue felt and below this is the player number "12" in red felt. The player number "12" also appears on the back of the jersey in blue felt. On the front of the jersey is an autograph reading "To Bob My Rookie Jersey Best Wishes Tommy Davis (1960)" in black marker rating an 8. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
