A four time Gold Glove Award winner, Steve Garvey played professional baseball for 19 years and retired as one of the greats of his time. He earned a spot on 10 All-Star teams and was the 1974 NL MVP. This jersey was worn by Garvey in 1983 when he batted .294. In the neck of the jersey is the "Wilson" label with the size "44." On the left front tail is a brown patch reading "6 83" in white chain stitch denoting player number and year respectively. Across the front of the jersey is the team name "Padres" in yellow on orange tackle twill. On the back of the jersey is a brown nameplate with the name "Garvey" in yellow tackle twill. Below this is the player number "6" in yellow on orange tackle twill. There is an autograph on the back number, rating an 8. The jersey shows even wear throughout. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
