Mike Hampton is an intense competitor who gets ahead of hitters with his two-seam fastball. He is also an excellent fielder and one of the best hitting pitchers in the game. This jersey was worn during the latter part of the 2001 season. On the left front tail is the "Russell Athletic" label and below is the size tag, "46." Below this is a label reading "Hampton 46-10." The numbers denote the size and player number, respectively. Across the front of the jersey is the name "Colorado" in purple on black/white tackle twill and on the back of the shirt is the name "Hampton" in purple on white tackle twill. Below this is the player number "10" also made of purple on black/white tackle twill. On the back of the jersey is an American flag patch commemorating the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. It comes with a team letter.
