During a 22-year major league career, Dave Winfield established himself as one of the finest all-around athletes to play the game. Winfield roamed the outfield with consummate skill and earned a reputation as one of the smartest, fiercest baserunners of his generation. Winfield's Louisville Slugger model W273 (his personal model) was used by Dave during his first two years with the Yankees. The bat is uncracked and shows evidence of moderate game use. The right and left barrel display ball and ball stitch marks. Winfield's player number "31" is written in white marker on the knob end. Manufacturer: Hillerich & Bradsby, Model Number: W273, Labeling Period: 1980-1983, Length: 35 in, Weight: 31 oz, Wood: Ash, Finish: Brown-Hornsby. The bat comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
