Arguably the greatest catcher of all time Bench won 10 Gold Gloves, was a 12 time All-Star and won two NL MVP awards during his 17 year Hall of Fame career. Bench was also named the MVP of the 1976 World Series that saw him bat .533 and lead the "Big Red Machine" to a 4 game sweep over the NY Yankees. Offered is Johnny Bench's 1976 World Series Bat. Manufactured by Hillerich & Bradsby, the bat measures 34 inches and weighs 33.8 ounces. All barrel stamping is perfect and the attractive Liberty Bell Bicentennial logo leaps from the barrel. In 1976, all players on the Yankees and Reds received one World Series bat. The bats were not made as player game models. All bats were identical in length and weight. 1976 World Series bats are scarce, here's an opportunity to own a Bicentennial World Series bat of this great Hall of Fame catcher and World Series MVP. Manufacturer: Hillerich & Bradsby, Model Number: 1976 WS, Labeling Period: 1976, Length: 34", Weight: 33.8 oz, Wood: Ash, Finish: Natural. The bat comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
