Babe Ruth was quite productive in 1926; besides hitting .372 with 47 home runs and 146 RBIs, he found the time to autograph the baseball offered here with a near perfect signature across the sweet spot. Ruth signed this red and blue stitched vintage OAL baseball in thick black fountain pen with a signature reading ""Babe" Ruth 1926." There is a slight smudge in the "26" of 1926 and the ball, which has faded stamping, exhibits toning and wear appropriate for a baseball dating back to the prime of Ruth's career. This Ruth ball, with a signature rating a strong 9, is an excellent centerpiece for any collection. The autograph comes with a PSA/DNA letter of authenticity.
