One of baseball's fiercest competitors, Lefty Grove was an integral part of the Philadelphia Athletics dynasty of 1929-31. He won an astounding nine ERA titles and led his league in wins four times, while throwing exactly 300 wins. The six time All-Star was voted the National Leagues' Most Valuable Player in 1931 and was elected into Baseball's Hall of Fame in 1947. Grove penned one of the darkest, boldest signatures possible on the sweetspot of this baseball that can rates a near perfect 10. The "Official League" ball shows only a minimal amount of toning and a light coat of clear varnish has been applied over the signature for preservation. A nicer Grove signed ball is hard to imagine. The autograph comes with a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
