In addition to being a career .284 hitter, Casey Stengel just may have been the greatest manager that the Major Leagues has ever seen. Between 1948 and 1960 he led the Yankees to ten pennants and seven World Series victories. This framed display houses two signatures from Stengel. The first is a rare full name "Charles D Stengel" that appears on a personal check. The check is unused but was signed by Casey and dated 1973. There is a vertical crease down the center of the check that does not affect the signature. The second autograph appears on a 3.5" round disc that depicts Casey during his days with the Mets and has been signed in black ink. Both signatures rate strong 9s. Also included in the display is a Perez-Steele postcard picturing Casey in his New York Yankees uniform, which is beautifully framed in cherry wood to an overall size of 13.25"x14.50". The autographs come with a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
