Ted Williams and Babe Ruth are without question two of the best hitters to ever grace the diamond. Their sweet swings from the left side of the plate produced similar results and similar statistics as well. In fact, Williams retired with .344 career average, just two points higher than Ruth. That's quite impressive when you consider both players were power hitters as well. This famous color photo of a starry-eyed Williams shaking hands with Ruth is flawlessly signed by the Splendid Splinter with the signature grading a near 10. The number "9" hologram is situated in the lower right corner and a 004705 sticker can be found adjacent to it. The photo is double-matted inside a 29" x 25" frame and grades NM-MT. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
