Other than a petition, you would be hard-pressed to find an item with as many signatures as the one offered here. Boasting more than 500 autographs, many including the signer's address, this sign-in book stems from the April 17, 1939 banquet held in honor of Hall-of-Famer Gabby Hartnett at the Hotel Stevens in Chicago. The dinner was host to both athletes and dignitaries alike, as evidenced by the wide array of signatures found in the leather bound book consisting of more than 100 pages. John L. Sullivan, Emily Post, Ray Kroc, Dizzy Dean, Mickey Cochrane, Freddy Lindstrom, Kirby Higbe, Augie Galan and Phil Cavarretta are just a few of the autographs that can be found in this masterpiece. The large majority of signatures are penned in ink with just a few in pencil. They grade a solid 8 across the board. The book itself grades close to near-mint with clear markings on the cover and pages that are attached are untoned for the most part. The autographs come with a letter from PSA/DNA.
