This letter was hand written by Baseball Hall of Famer Honus Wagner to a gentleman by the name of Charles Curtis Wilson on July 24, 1937. Wilson was preparing an article on Wagner for publication and had sent the aging star a copy to check for accuracy. Wagner advises the writer that "...Jimmy also can arrange it so you can get photos of me in action..." He has signed the letter "Honus." The letter is written on hotel stationery and is accompanied by the original mailing envelope which is also in Wagner's handwriting. The letter itself is in excellent condition with the original fold lines and some minor discoloration due to age. It was written in black fountain pen which has remained dark and bold in the nearly 70 years since.
