The American League celebrated its 100th birthday in 2001 and it was only fitting that the New York Yankees, the league's most successful member, advanced all the way to the seventh game of the World Series. Earlier in the season, the Bronx Bombers traveled across town to take on the rival New York Mets and this on deck circle was present on the field during that series for use by the Yanks. It reads "100 Seasons 1901-2001", "American League" and "Charter Member" and has an MLB authentic game-used hologram sticker at the bottom center. The offered item shows excellent use and good wear from the player's cleats and measures 57" in circumference. This is a rare opportunity for the Yankees fan to acquire an item seldom seen at auction.
