The only thing more impressive than Fergie Jenkins winning 20 or more games six years in a row from 1967-1972 is that he accomplished the feat for a Chicago Cubs team that didn't make the playoffs in any of those seasons. Such was life for Jenkins who, like fellow Cubs great Ernie Banks, had the misfortune of never playing in the World Series. Jenkins, the first Canadian elected to the Hall of Fame, finished his 19-year career with a 284-226 mark that included 3,192 strikeouts. Jenkins was enshrined in Cooperstown in 1991 and this enormous banner hung during that ceremony. Measuring 91" x 56-1/2", the red, white and blue banner reads "Ferguson Jenkins" and grades EX-MT. The stitching on the "N" in Ferguson is loose.
