It is not often that you will come across a 1909-11 American Caramel card that grades mint. After all, many of these nearly 100 year-old cards that still exist are plagued by caramel stains, centering problems, creases, etc. That's what makes this Christy Mathewson even more special. Exhibiting razor sharp corners, terrific color and focus, no staining and a clean back, this is truly a rare find. It is centered approx. 60-40 both ways. Graded mint 9.0 by PRO.
