It's hard to believe, but 72 years have passed since a National Leaguer hit .400 in a season. New York Giants legend Bill Terry was the last to reach the mark, having finished the 1930 season with a .401 batting average. Terry's .341 lifetime average is among the best of all time. This PSA NM-MT 8 1932 U.S. Caramel Bill Terry is one of only seven to grade NM-MT with none higher. Exhibiting sharp corners, great color and focus and nice centering (50-50 l-r, 60/40 t-b), this gem truly earned the grade. The card also displays a clean back and no staining.
