Dazzy Vance had a splendid career on the mound, one which landed the longtime Brooklyn Dodgers hurler in the Hall of Fame. One season in particular, though, stood out from the rest. Dazzy put it all together in 1924 when he compiled a gaudy 28-6 mark with a 2.16 ERA and 262 strikeouts. This 1933 Goudey card features Vance at the twilight of his career with the St. Louis Cardinals and is graded PSA NM 7. The offered example exhibits terrific color and focus, solid corners and a clean back.
