Jackie Robinson's accomplishments on the baseball diamond are well documented. The Hall of Fame second baseman hit .311 over a ten-year Major League career that saw him help the Brooklyn Dodgers to six appearances in the Fall Classic, including a World Series championship in 1955. Three years after his MLB debut, Robinson starred in a movie about his life and the challenges he faced dealing with the ills of the world while playing for the Dodgers. This 18" x 22" press book sheet advertises different posters and lobby cards pertaining to the movie, which was directed by Alfred E. Green and features some great shots of Ebbets Field. The sheet grades a little better than VG-EX with some wrinkling, but does exhibit nice color and focus. It is handsomely matted in grey and white and housed in a 24" x 28-1/2" frame.
