Sports is filled with showmen, and with great athletes, but perhaps never were they better combined than in the young man who began life as Cassius Clay and became a worldwide phenomenon as Muhammad Ali. The man who bragged about his ability to "float like a butterfly and sting like a bee" went from being a curious oddity in the early 1960s to a national villain to an international hero. And now he reigns as one of the most beloved men on the planet. Offered in this lot are two 16" x 20" photos autographed by Muhammad Ali. The first is a color image of a young Clay in a gym. The photo is signed in blue ink "Muhammad Ali aka Cassius Clay". Signature grades a 9. The other photo is a black & white image of Ali in the ring raising his arms in victory. The photo is signed in silver ink "Muhammad Ali". Signature grades a 9. The autograph includes a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
