The San Jose Sharks made their NHL debut during the 1991-92 season. Joining the team on the ice was Rick Lessard, a defenseman that the team acquired from the Kansas City Blades of the IHL. In the neck of the jersey is the "Maska" manufacturers label. Next to this is the size "54" flag tag. On the rear right tail are the "CCM" and "NHL" embroidered logos. On the front of the jersey is the team logo patch. On the back is a nameplate with the player name "Lessard" and below this is the player number "13." The number also appears on each sleeve. Both the name and numbers are made of white on black tackle twill. On each sleeve is the team's shark fin patch. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. It comes with additional documentation from Byron's Hockeyland.
