Dallas was one of the most underrated players in the NHL during his time. He played defense so well, always in the right position, that he was sometimes easy to overlook. He teamed with Bobby Orr on defense, Dallas made good use of his passing and play making ability, and his point totals placed him in the upper reaches of scoring among defenseman of his day. In 1972, Dallas and the Boston Bruins defeated the NY Rangers 4 games to 2 and won the Stanley Cup championship. This brilliant 14K white gold Stanley Cup championship ring has diamonds (17) in the middle and the wording "Boston Bruins, World Champions" embossed around the diamonds. The left shank has the player name, number, and "League Champions." The right shank reads "1972, Stanley Cup Champions, Boston 4 NY 2, and NHL." The inside band is stamped "Balfour, 14K." The ring grades excellent and is a size 9. It comes with letter from Smith.
