Mark Bavaro was a mainstay in the New York Giants' offense during their 1987 and 1991 Super Bowl championship seasons. Few tight ends in NFL history can match Bavaro's overall skills, toughness, will to win and knack for making clutch plays. On the left front tail is the year tag "86" which is done in computer print. Next to this is the "Sand-Knit" label with the size "44" and above this is the New York Giants exclusive label. On the back of the jersey is a white mesh nameplate with the name "Bavaro" in blue letters. The player number "89" appears on the front, back and on each sleeve of the jersey in blue on red numbers. The letters and numbers have been ironed-on. On the upper left front is the "Spider" patch. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
