An original member of the New York Titans turned Jets, center Mike Hudock was known for his workmanlike approach to the game. He epitomized the first man on, last man off the field mentality. The suspension helmet offered here was worn by Hudock during the 1964 season. This fantastic and rarely seen vintage item features a Jets logo on either side and Riddell and Kra-Lite markings on the reverse. Hudock's number 52 is written in red marker inside beside both ear holes. 1964 was the first and only year the Jets used this style of helmet, which features a circular leather Riddell Suspension Helmet patch fastened in the crown and an "F4" stamp above the right ear hole. This ultra rare item shows tremendous game use and comes with a LOA from Lou Lampson.
