On January 20, 1961, John Fitzgerald Kennedy was sworn in as the 35th President of the United States. While millions of viewers around the Nation tuned their TV sets to watch the ceremony, only a very select few were allowed to attend. Offered in this lot is an original ticket to the inauguration that is one of very few existing tickets that is not used. The ticket is in excellent to near mint condition. It has been triple matted and framed with a touching 11x14 photograph that shows John Jr. saluting as his father's funeral procession rolls by, following the assassination of JFK, one of our Nation's most beloved Presidents. Overall measurements are 24"x26."
