Richard Nixon was the 37th President of the United States, serving from 1969-74. His ties to sports are well known. In this typed letter, dated August 23, 1965, Nixon writes to a friend "I will look forward to attending the Army-Notre Dame game with you". He later discusses a golf game that he is trying to set up involving himself and Ara Parseghian. He has signed the letter "Dick" in blue ink with the signature rating an 8. The letter has been professionally matted in red white and blue and framed in black with two color pictures of the late President. Overall measurements are 15" x 30.5". The autograph comes with a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
