As 1961 was bringing the end to Marilyn's acting career, and one year prior to her death, she co-starred with Clark Gable in "The Misfits". This gorgeous Marilyn Monroe original bank check with light blue background has a 9 signature, and was drawn on the Bankers Trust Company on Park Avenue. This check has very special historical significance as it was written to Hedda Rosten, the wife of Norman Rosten, who in 1973 wrote Marilyn's unofficial autobiography. The check itself is in near mint condition other than normal inkage from the bank's acceptance stamp.
