Keith Richards IS the Rolling Stones! It is Keith who writes the bulk of the band's music. Indeed, Keith's personality embodies the very essence of The Rolling Stones; Keith is brash, angry, and unconcerned with what others think about him. It's this sort of "take me or leave me" attitude that gives classic Stones tracks their fire. When he was 15, his mother bought him his first guitar, and from that moment, it became the most important thing in his life. A rekindled friendship with Mick Jagger (they were sandbox mates) and a mutual love of American blues led to the formation, in 1962, of a band called the Rolling Stones. Richards' edgy guitar style set the band apart, and once he and Jagger discovered that they could actually write songs, there was no stopping them. We have been given this tremendous opportunity to offer the first and only Keith Richards stage used guitar ever to be auctioned. The stage used black silhouette guitar was made by Ernie Ball and sent to Keith in March of 1993. The reverse of the guitar has the serial number that matches the copy of the ordering records (included) of the guitars that were made for Richards. Included with the stage used guitar are the case, guitar strap, wireless jack feed and a fax detailing the music set list for the concert. A photo of Keith with this guitar on stage is included. Superstar stage used guitars have been selling for record prices in recent auctions. This is an incredible opportunity to acquire a stage used guitar from one of the most recognized guitarist and bands in rock n' roll history!
